Reading Journal VIII

Okay so last time I was here I had told you that I had learned that you do not need to have any type of special type of music to worship God with. Well this week I learned something totally different I learned that we need to be his best friends!
At first I was like okay that is going to be weird because, if he is your best friend how would it feel to tell him your secrets and all of your personal information. But then I remembered that God knows everything about us: so what is the point in being embarrassed about telling him your life. If He already knows it. But I also wanted to know if you could be his best friend how do you become his Best Friend?
The book showed me that God does not want to be a simple,e routine in our lives but he wants to be in all of our thoughs and acts. He wants us to be in constant contact with him. This is how we can become his best fried. Which would be one of the smartest things you have ever done.

Readeing Journal VII

Okay so I told you I had been reading a book called "Una Vida con Proposito." What has been going on so far is, it has been telling me what the our purpose in life is.

First Purpose:Planed to give joy to God.

I am barely starting finishing this purpose. This purpose has really shown me that I do not live my own life. That I should live it for God. It also has taught me that there is no such thing as The "right type" of music to glorify God with. Unless, we are doing it to glorify God. I am really enjoying this book, even though my family teases me on how much I take tome reading it.Well, that is all.

OKAY SO, I HAVE BEEN READING THIS BOOK CALLED UNA VIDA CON PROPOSITO, "A LIFE WITH A PURPOSE." IT IS TO SUPPOSE TO HELP YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOU WERE PUT HERE ON THIS EARTH FOR. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN FAR, BUT SO FAR THIS BOOK HAS TAUGHT ME TO NOT GET TOO ATTACHED TO THINGS HERE ON EARTH. FOR I WILL NOT HAVE ANY OF THIS THINGS ON HEAVEN. I WOULD REALLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE. I AM REALLY GLAD THAT MY COUSIN RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK TO ME I AM REALLY GRATEFUL TO HIM. WELL THAT IS SO FAR WHAT I HAVE READ!!!

Reading Journal V

Okay well, remember how I was reading the book, " Breaking Through," well I finished it. It was a really good book. Well, at the end Panchito graduates high school. And, Guess what? He was able to go to college!!! I know that really inspired me to know things can be done. If, you work hard for them. Oh and guess what, Roberto got married. I was really happy for him. I sort of felt silly being happy for something that had happened so many years ago...
But anyways now I am reading book called, "Our Town." It has to do with life and death. So it is perfect for our new project. Well, that is all I got.

Reading Journal IV

Okay so now Panchito is in his third year of high school. I know time goes by fast. But I really admired him for what he did. So, there was this event in his school called,"Escandalos Juveniles," well that is what they are called in Spanish. Well, you will never guess what he did he sang the song, "Cielito Lindo." I know I was really glad he did. And afterwards, everybody gave him a standing ovation and applauded him. It was really nice. But I do not like his father. I think he is just a big sexest and who thinks his way is always right. And, then the mother who justs lets him go along with it. But anyways those were older times...

Okay so I am reading this book called, "Breaking Through," and it is sort of getting a little boring. The only thing I could say is that Roberto, Francisco's older brother got a girlfriend. But he had to break up with her, just because, he was MEXICAN!! It is really hard to understand why humans make divisions when God does not and created us the same.But of what makes us human. For we think of ourselves us a "god" when we really only use 10% of our brains!!! But anyways, getting back to the book I guess they are starting to get used to their lives as almost being invisible.
Well that is all!!!

THE BOOK, "BREAKING THROUGH", WAS REALLY INTERESTING I FELT LIKE I COULD REALLY RELATE. ESPECIALLY THE TIME WHEN HE GOT IN TROUBLE FOR TALKING BACK TOA NEIGHBOR. THAT HAPPENS TO ME A LOT. I DO NOT KNOW WHY OLDER THINK THAT WE SHOULD JUST RESPECT THEM, IF THEY DO NOT RESPECT US. SO NOW I DO NOT LIKE THAT NEIGHBOR. BUT WHO REALLY GOT ME MAD WAS, PEGGY. I DID NOT THINK IT WAS FAIR THAT SHE TREATED PANCHITO LIKE THAT BECAUSE HE DID NOT FELT COMFORTABLE BEING WITH HER ALONE. I ONCE WAS WITH A FRIEND WHOSE NAME IS DANNI. BUT SHE WANTED ME TO DO SOMETHING THAT I KNEW WAS WRONG, BUT WAS TOO YOUNG TO UNDERSTAND IT. AND AT THE END SHE DID IT SHE PUT THE BLAME ON ME. SO I REALLY DO NOT LIKE PEGGY. I THINK HER PARENTS SHOULD HAVE A NICE LONG CHAT WITH HER.BUT ONE THING I REALLY ADMIRED WAS WHEN HE GOT UP IN FRONT OF THE CLASSROOM AND PRETENDED TO ACT LIKE ELVIS... I KNOW IT SOUNDS A LITTLE WIERD BUT HE DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE WAS OR IS MEXICAN. I THINK HIS FATHER HAD A BIG INPACT ON HIS ATTITUDE. ANOTHER PERSON I REALLY ADMIRED WAS HIS OLDER BROTHER, ROBERTO. HE JUST SOUNDS SO MATURE AND GROWN FOR HIS AGE. MY BROTHERS FRIEND IS LIKE THAT TOO HE IS 21 AND HAS A FAMILY OF FIVE INCLUDING HIMSELF. WHEN MOST TWENTY YEAR OLDS WOULD BE GOING OUT AND PARTIYNG HE CARES FOR HIS FAMILY. AND I REALLY ADMIRE THAT, BECAUSE I THINK FAMILY IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!THE HAPPIEST PART FOR ME WAS PROBABLY WHEN THE WHOLE FAMILY GOT REUNITED AGAIN. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A LITTLE FREKY WHEN THE DAD MENTIONED HE HAD BEEN CURSED. THAT SORT OF WORRIED ME. BUT I AM JUST SIMPLY GLAD EVERUY ONE WS OKAY!!!!!!AND THAT IS IT!!!!

Litlle Bit of Me

HEY I AM DENISSE I AM 14 YEARS OLD. I GO TO HIGH TECH HIGHAS A FRESH MAN. HIGH TECH HIGH IS A REALLY EXCITING SCHOOL, THEY MAKE YOU DO A LOT OF PROJECTS.I HAVE MADE A GROUP OF REALLY GOOD FRIENDS.I HAVE A LITTLE SISTER WHO IS 9 YEARS OL. AND I CURRENTLY HAD A NEW BABY COUSIN, HIS NAME IS DIEGO HE IS REALLY CUTE. I THINK I AM A REALLY OUTGOING PERSON. I AM ALSO REALLY A GOOD FRIEND. WELL. THAT IS A LITTLE BIT OF ME!!!

Reading Journal II

So far I have been reading the book, Breaking Through. It is sort of starting to get to me, and it sort of makes me mad. I mean Franciscowho has to work and do chores around the house still gets good and those whose only responsabilitie is to study and get good grdes don not get the best grades they should have. But on the plus side it shows how the majoritie of people who immigrate illegally are here to work and get an education. I would also like to point out a person who I really considered to be nice and generous would be Bob Twitchel, He is the lawyer who lent Francisco the typer. OOOH, and there was this part that reallllly groooooosed me out! The way how he was describing his English teacher, Miss. Audrey Bell. It was how he said that her arm jiggled and that she had brown spots. It was just a little bit too detailed for me. But anyways I am really liking the story!!!
